After removing the body I took the frame off to get blasted and painted with primer. while it was off I welded up the rear body mounts that are under the rear seats and sprayed it down using Por15 Frame coating. This is it a few weeks after I got it back. Most if not all the work done on the YJ was out side. I suggest that if you start a project like this to have a shop.
Lots of info about Jeep YJ's and Cherokee's, installs, do-it-yourself projects, product reviews, home made mods, wheelin' videos, trail pics, etc.

YJ Frame Clean up
I took the frame to have it sand blasted and then primed red.
